New Brazilian market, all you can eat buffet, opens its doors in Fall River
A new market with a buffet opened its doors Tuesday in Fall River.
Gol Supermarket has taken the place of Buffet 2000 at 441 Tucker Street.
Gol features specialty Brazilian cuisine (including buffet BBQ and coxinhas), a complete butcher, fresh bakery, prepared foods, pizza, grill with special cuts, fresh fruit/veggies, and more.
You can build your favorite combo for $19.99 – All You Can Eat.
According to the Cape Cod Times, owner Elson Goncalves “came to the United States from Brazil in 2001 with no money and no knowledge of English.” He worked his way up from stocking shelves for a supermarket chain, to buying the first Gol Supermarket in 2010.
Gol also has locations in Hyannis, Falmouth, Leominster, and recently opened in Sturbridge.
They are even open from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
