A man is being held on bail after an arrest by Fall River police this week.
According to police, on Wednesday, members of the department’s Community Action & Suppression Team conducted a motor vehicle stop as the result of a brief narcotics investigation.
The vehicle was being operated by 42-year-old Kimarni Bennett. As a result of the investigation, Bennett was found to be in possession of approximately 80 grams of crack cocaine.
He was placed under arrest and charged with Trafficking Cocaine, 36 Grams or More, and Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
Court records show that at arraignment, Bennett pled not guilty and was being held on $30,000 bond/$3,000 cash bail.
A hearing to review status is scheduled for September 28th.
All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
