Name released of Bristol County woman killed in crash on Route 140

The victim has been identified concerning a fatal collision that took place on Thursday.
According to police, a fatal single-car crash occurred on Route 140 in Wrentham, claiming the life of the elderly female driver.
The incident took place near the intersection of Route 140 and Eagle Brook Boulevard, with police responding shortly after 4:00 p.m.
The vehicle, described as a heavily damaged white car, was found on its side near the tree line after rolling over.
Wrentham Police closed the road between Creek and Elysium Streets but was re-opened at about 7:00 p.m.
According to Chief Bill McGrath, 88-year-old Marijane White of North Attleborough is the deceased.
K9 and thermal imaging drones were used to be sure there were no other occupants of the vehicle in case someone was ejected into the water or thick brush. It was determined there were no other occupants.
The crash is under investigation.
