Name released of 20-year-old who died from injuries sustained in Brockton crash

A young Massachusetts man has died from injuries sustained in a weekend collision.
According to Nathan Lederman of the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, the fatal incident at approximately 11:00 a.m. on Saturday involved a single vehicle — a Kia Forte — crashing into a utility pole in the area of 34 North Cary Street in Brockton.
The driver, identified as 20-year-old Robert Brown of Brockton, sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. He later died from his injuries. A single passenger was also in the vehicle at the time of the crash and received medical treatment after being transported to a local hospital.
Two men died on the same street in a collision on Wednesday.
The circumstances surrounding Saturday’s crash are still under investigation.
