Name released, Massachusetts State Police investigating, after man ejected in fatal Route 3 crash
DUXBURY – A man died on Route 3 in Duxbury early this morning following a single motor vehicle crash, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz has announced.
At just before 5:00 a.m. this morning, Massachusetts State Police responded to a 911 call for a report of a crash on Route 3 and observed a vehicle had struck the end of the guardrail on the right side of the roadway.
Preliminary investigation of the crash shows that the driver – who was travelling southbound on Route 3 at the time of the collision was ejected from his vehicle after veering toward the right shoulder of the highway.
The victim succumbed to his injuries prior to the arrival of medical personnel and has been identified as 53-year-old Abdel Naser Alyagbeh of Pembroke.
Investigation into the fatal crash is still ongoing and is being conducted by Massachusetts State Police.
