“My best friend”; Massachusetts man with Plymouth County, Bristol County, and Cape Cod ties shot to death
Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the district attorney’s office, New Bedford Police and Homicide Unit prosecutors are actively investigating a homicide, which occurred in New Bedford Saturday.
At approximately 12:45 a.m., New Bedford Police received 911 calls regarding males fighting and an apparent gunshot in the area of 36 Acushnet Avenue.
Upon arrival, first responders located 26-year-old Nicholas “Drip” Miller of Bridgewater, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was rushed to Saint Luke’s Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased at 2:42 a.m.
Miller has previously lived in Brockton and on Cape Cod.
His mother described him as her best friend after announcing that someone had murdered him.
The investigation into the homicide is active and ongoing. No other details were released.

That is an old mugshot, from when he stole a gun, car, and stalked an older man. He stopped him with a friend, and crushed his face.
He had grotesque priors for beating and menacing family, and at least on restraining order.
