Multiple people injured in Fall River after morning two-vehicle collision
Multiple people were injured after a 2-vehicle crash in Fall River on Thursday.
A call came into dispatch just after 9:15 a.m. for a crash on East Main and Hamlet Streets involving a taxi and a BMW.
According to scanner transmissions, the injured driver of the BMW was entrapped and needed to be extricated.
Traffic was blocked on Hamlet at Montaup Street.
The Taxi driver was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital.
The driver of the BMW was taken to St. Anne’s Hospital.
Three rescues in total were called to the scene, including one from Tiverton.
The crash is under investigation.
