Multiple Massachusetts police departments combine to arrest 25-year-old on several drug trafficking charges, Assault and Battery on a police officer

(Wareham, MA) – Last week the Wareham Police Criminal Investigation Division along with members of the Patrol Division, Marion Police Department, and Plymouth Police Department served three Commonwealth of Massachusetts narcotic related search warrants on 25-year-old Dylan McCoog of Marion, his vehicle and his residence in Marion.

The joint investigation which consisted of the Wareham Police Department, Marion Police Department, Marion, MA, Plymouth Police Department K-9 Unit, The Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit, resulted in the arrest of McCoog, and the seizure of large quantities of suspected Fentanyl, Cocaine, various pills, drug related paraphernalia, and over $65,000 in cash.

McCoog was charged with; Trafficking fentanyl, three counts of Possession with intent to distribute Class B subsequent offense, Possession with intent to Distribute Class A subsequent offense, disorderly conduct, and Assault and Battery on a police officer.

McCoog was arraigned at the Wareham Fourth 4th District Court and is currently being held on $20,000 cash bail.

Chief Walter Correia Jr. applauded the collaborative effort between the multiple agencies involved in the investigation for taking potential lethal drugs off the streets.
