Law enforcement agencies worked together Sunday morning to save a man’s life.

According to Kingston Police, shortly after 5:00 a.m., the Massachusetts State Police received a call that an individual, appearing to suffer from a mental health crisis, jumped out of a vehicle on Route 3 in Kingston and ran into the woods.

MSP requested the assistance of Kingston PD to search the area. The Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department also responded with a K-9 unit to assist as additional MSP units and resources from throughout the region began to respond.

After an extensive search, which lasted several hours through thick brush and marsh, the individual who wasn’t familiar with the area and was lost deep in the woods was located in general good physical health. After conversing with him for some time to help deescalate his mental health crisis, law enforcement was able to get the individual to cooperate, where he was then walked out of the woods and was transported via a Kingston Fire Dept. ambulance to the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth.

This was a post from 6 years ago. These dogs are not adoptable. I would still encourage people to put their names I if you want to adopt a retired dog.

This incident just recently happened and has nothing to do with adopting dogs.
