Multiple agencies investigating after 6-week-old male infant found deceased in Rhode Island
An investigation has begun concerning the death of a young child in Rhode Island.
Just after 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, a call came into dispatch for the 400 block of Church Street in Pascoag for a possible death.
Crews arrived to find that a 6-week-old male infant was found unresponsive by his mother in his bassinette, according to multiple reports.
The infant was pronounced dead at the scene.
The death is being investigated by Burrillville PD, DCYF, the Attorney General, and the medical examiner.
