Mr. Chen, with help from community, once again showing appreciation to Fall River area first responders

A Fall River Chinese Restaurant has decided once again to raise some money to give back to first responders, already exceeding what took place in late 2022.

Dominic Chen of Mr. Chen has gathered some friends and business owners to throw appreciation luncheons next week for first responders in the Fall River area.

Throwing in some of his own money in addition to making the party platters himself, $2000 was raised, good for 50 big party trays in 2022.

This year, enough money has already been raised for 60 trays.

Chen plans to deliver the platters to first responders in several communities including those in Fall River, Somerset, Swansea, Berkley, New Bedford, Dartmouth, and Tiverton.
