Motorcycle rider seriously injured in Friday crash in Taunton
Taunton Police are investigating a serious crash Friday.
According to TPD, at 6:59pm the Taunton Police Department along with the Taunton Fire Department responded to area of Alfred Lord Boulevard and Worcester Street for a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.
The initial investigation revealed that a Harley Davidson motorcycle, was traveling south on Alfred Lord Boulevard, when the motorcycle struck a Dodge Grand Caravan that was traveling north on Alfred Lord Boulevard.
As a result of the collision, the motorcycle operator suffered serious injuries and was transported via med flight to a Boston Hospital. The operator and passenger of the Caravan were uninjured at this time.
The crash is under further investigation by Taunton Police Detectives and the Taunton Police Crash Reconstruction Team.
