Motorcycle rider seriously injured, driver at fault in Fall River crash
A motorcycle rider was seriously injured in a crash on Thursday where the other individual involved in the accident was determined to be at fault.
According to Detective John Robinson, a call came into dispatch at approximately 2:49 p.m. for an accident involving a motorcycle and another vehicle in the area of 244 Brayton Avenue.
After an investigation, it was determined that the operator was at fault after failing to stop at a stop sign at Lapham Street and Brayton Avenue.
The 50-year-old male operator of the motorcycle was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries, but as of 11:00 p.m. on Thursday was in stable condition.
