Motorcycle rider injured after afternoon collision with vehicle in Tiverton
At least one person was injured Saturday after a collision involving a motorcycle in Tiverton.
Just before 1:25 p.m., a call came into dispatch for a car versus motorcycle crash at 1214 Stafford Road in Tiverton.
According to scanner transmissions, Tiverton and mutual aid partners arrived on scene to find a 70-year-old motorcycle rider on the ground with a fractured ankle. He was conscious and alert.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
