Motorcycle rider in Seekonk critically injured after fiery collision with another vehicle

Several people were injured Thursday afternoon after a fiery crash in Bristol County.

According to scanner transmissions, a call came in just before 3:45 p.m. for a crash involving a motorcycle and SUV on fire in the area of 999 Fall River Avenue near the Lowe’s access road in Seekonk.

A tourniquet was applied to the motorcycle rider’s legs and crews quickly extinguished the fire.

While the motorcycle rider was critically injured, two in the SUV suffered minor injuries.

The road was shut down during the emergency response.
