Motorcycle crash leaves life-threatening and severe injuries on Route 140
Two motorcycle riders suffered serious injuries in a weekend crash.
At approximately 5:00 p.m., the Lakeville Fire Department responded to a motorcycle crash Sunday.
According to LFD, Car 1, Ambulance 1, Ambulance 2, and Engine 1 responded to Route 140 North, just before Myricks, for two motorcycles down.
While responding to the scene, firefighters were notified by State Police that the operators of the motorcycles had been badly injured.
Car 1 arrived first on scene to find two riders down and initiated care.
The Taunton Fire Department and a Brewster Ambulance also responded to the scene and provided support to the Lakeville crews.
The Lakeville Ambulances transported both patients to Rhode Island Hospital.
LFD stated that one of the rider’s injuries were considered serious and potentially life threatening. The second patient’s injuries were severe and considered to be life threatening.
No other details are being released at this time, according to LFD.
