Mother of missing Massachusetts woman raising funds to offer reward to bring her home
Police are actively investigating the disappearance of a Massachusetts woman and her mother is in the process of raising money to help find her.
27-year-old Brittney Mccormack of Hanover has been missing for 6 months leaving her mother and Brittney’s two children without her on Christmas.
Brittney’s mother Laury says that she was last seen in the South Shore area and believed to be in danger. There have been no new leads.
Laury is trying to raise money as a reward that leads to the discovery of her daughter and the persons responsible for her disappearance. The GoFundMe page that she created has netted $380 as of this writing.
Brittney is known to frequent Brockton, Hull, Abington, and Rockland.
Laury wants the public to know that despite her daughter having substance issues, Brittney would do anything for anyone and she has a heart of gold.
Police believe that Brittney may be deceased.
Brittney is 5’3″ tall and 150 pounds, with red hair (has also been blonde and brown in the past) and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a short sleeve t-shirt, shorts, sandals and a green Army jacket.
Both of her ears are pierced, and she also has her nose pierced. She has a tattoo of a peace sign on her lower back, “dream on” inside her wrist, and a red heart with a tail to it on the back of her neck.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hanover Police Department at (781) 826-2335.
