Mother, father, daughter found dead in Norfolk County home authorities say, possible cause released
Three family members were found dead Thursday evening, authorities say.
According to the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office, Dover Police received a 911 call requesting a response to a residence on Wilson’s Way at approximately 7:24 p.m., by a family member who had stopped by to check on the family.
Dover Police responded to the home to find an adult male, adult female, and their teenage daughter deceased. Officers secured the scene and contacted the State Police Detective Unit attached to the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office to join the investigation.
The names of the deceased are 57-year-old Rakesh Kamal, 54-year-old Teena Kamal, and 18-year-old Arianna Kamal.
The DA stated that although the investigation is at a very preliminary stage, the evidence available at this time does not indicate the involvement of any outside party but suggests that this is a deadly incident of domestic violence. It is not believed that there is any ongoing danger to the Dover community related to this incident.
A gun was reportedly located near the father.
Dover Police and Massachusetts State Police officers from the Norfolk District Attorney’s office, State Police Crime Scene Services Section, and other specialized units processed the crime scene through much of the night.
