More details released for free Fall River Public Safety Palooza taking place this week
(FALL RIVER, MA – July 28, 2025)- On Tuesday, August 5th, 2025, the City of Fall River, the Fall River Police Department (FRPD), the Fall River Fire Department (FRFD), Fall River Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and the Emergency Management Agency (EMA) will be hosting Public Safety Palooza.
This annual event serves to bring the community together to meet public safety officials and learn more about public safety initiatives, and enjoy a night of promoting trust, safety, and neighborhood unity!
What to look forward to:

● Jaws of Life Demonstration
● Police Motorcycle Demonstration
● Community Partners
● Car Seat Demonstration and Assistance
● Fire Hose Target Practice
● Sparky the Fire Dog
● Andy the Ambulance
● Face Painting
● Games and Activities
Deputy Chief J.T. Hoar of the FRPD stated, “The Public Safety Palooza is more than just a fun night out, it’s an investment in trust, transparency, and meaningful connection between our public safety agencies and the community we serve. Events like this remind us that strong partnerships are the foundation of our city.”
This event will take place in the Bristol Community College (BCC), at 777 Elsbree Street, Fall River, parking lots 6-10. The Public Safety Palooza will take place, rain or shine as the parking lots are covered! The fun begins at 4pm with a sensory hour until 5pm. Following this, the event will go until 7pm.
EMS Chief Beth Faunce wanted to announce as well, “We are excited to introduce Andy the Ambulance and can not wait for him to make his debut within the community and flash his lights for the first time!”
“This event is a great way to get our residents connected with our first responders and to spend some quality time getting to know each other. We look forward to another successful Public Safety Palooza” said Mayor Paul Coogan.
