Missing Rhode Island woman found dead, death ruled suspicious

A missing Rhode Island woman has been identified as deceased, and her death is being ruled suspicious.

Heather Christine Boisvert was last seen alive on August 1, 2017, outside of the Providence Deli and Grill Mart talking to a friend.

Coventry Police located the remains in a town owned wooded area on Gadoury Avenue on April 29th of 2023, and authorities believe they were there since late 2017.

DNA and dental records were used to identify her.

Boisvert frequented several Rhode Island communities including Providence, Coventry, and Cranston.

Authorities released the information today, February 5th, 2025.
