Missing New Bedford man, last seen in Fall River, never made it to his North Carolina destination, has been located

A local man that had been reported missing after not reaching what was believed to be his destination has been located.

According to family, 55-year-old David Pellot of New Bedford left a Fall River home at noon on January 9th and hadn’t been seen since.

Pellot was supposed to go to Providence to take a bus to North Carolina. He never arrived in North Carolina, and it is not currently known if he made it to Providence.

Family members say police located Pellot safe but would not release further details.
