Missing 51-year-old Massachusetts woman found dead in lake
A Massachusetts woman was found dead Saturday after being reported missing earlier in the day.
According to Spencer Police, a 51-year-old female was found this afternoon deceased, floating near the shore of Lake Whittemore in Luther Hill Park.
The victim was reported missing to Police and was later discovered by one of the lifeguards on duty at the beach.
The Park, which had recently reopened, was closed for the remainder of the day.
Massachusetts State Police Detectives assisted by the Spencer Police are investigating the death.
