Missing 41-year-old North Providence woman believed to be in Fall River

Family members are concerned for the well-being of a missing local woman who could be in the area.

The North Providence Police Department is asking for the community to help find Darleen Sampson, 41, who was reported missing on January 8, 2026.

She is described as a fair skinned female with green eyes, and light brown hair. She is approximately 5’1″ tall weighing approximately 85-90lbs.

Sampson was last heard from on December 26, 2025.

According to The Valley Breeze, in an update, Sampson is believed to be in a homeless encampment in Fall River. Authorities have attempted to locate her to no avail.

She has no cell phone or social media.
