Milling and paving operations to temporarily close Route 24 on-ramp
FREETOWN – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation has announced it will be performing milling and paving operations on the on-ramp from Innovation Way to Route 24 northbound in Freetown.
The work will be conducted on Thursday, September 7, and on Friday, September 8, during overnight hours from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning. All work is expected to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 9.
The work will require the temporary closure of the ramp from Innovation Way to Route 24 northbound during work hours.
Traffic will be maintained using standard traffic control measures and state police details.
Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
The schedule for this work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.
