MIDDLEBOROUGH — Police Chief Robert Ferreira reports that the Middleborough Police Department arrested a woman on drug charges, including trafficking methamphetamine.
On Wednesday, at approximately 11:45 a.m., Officer Corey Bailey and Field Training Officer (FTO) Owen Carrel learned that a guest at a hotel on East Clark Street had an active warrant for her arrest.
Officer Bailey, FTO Carrel, and Officer Sophia Barnard served the warrant to 49-year-old Olivia Noemi Folsom of Brighton, who was taken into custody without incident.
As a result of an on-scene investigation, officers located about 34 grams of methamphetamine, a small plastic bag containing crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.
Folsom was arrested and charged with Trafficking in 18 Grams or More of Methamphetamine and Possession of a Class B Drug.
She also had an active warrant for her arrest out of Wareham District Court for failure to appear in court.
