Middleboro sells winning $4 million “Jackpot” prize
Another Massachusetts resident has hit a scratch ticket. This time for $4 million.
Accoring to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Karen Spaulding of East Falmouth has won a $4 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Instant Jackpot” instant ticket game.
Spaulding chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $2,600,000 (before taxes). Her winning ticket was purchased at Shell Mart, 63 Bedford St. in Middleborough. The store will receive a $40,000 bonus for its sale of the ticket.
Two additional $4 million prizes and seven $1 million prizes are still available in the “$4,000,000 Instant Jackpot” $10 instant game.
