Messy commute forecast for Friday morning, big snow possible Sunday

According to the National Weather Service, we are expected to see some snow in the area. While it is not expected to be a major storm, the timing could make things difficult.

Thursday night we will have a chance of snow, mainly after 2am. Cloudy, with a low around 20. Southeast wind 3 to 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Friday snow is likely before noon, then a slight chance of rain between noon and 2pm. The snow could be heavy at times. Cloudy, with a high near 41. Southeast wind around 7 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Then over the weekend we could see decent snow totals, though it is too early to tell at this point.

Saturday night snow Is expected before 3am, then rain and snow. Low around 26. Northeast wind 8 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Sunday rain is forecast. The rain could be heavy at times. High near 46. Breezy, with a southeast wind 17 to 20 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Sunday night rain, snow, freezing rain, and sleet are likely before 10pm, then a chance of snow between 10pm and 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 12. Blustery, with a northwest wind around 21 mph, with gusts as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
