Mayor Correia responds to letter from Council President Ponte, offers “co-sign” option
Mayor Correia, in a letter sent to Council President Ponte, has made a suggestion to the City Council.
Correia has offered that Ponte or VP Pam Laliberte-Lebeau can review and co-sign on city business if they want to do so due to their transparency concerns.
“I encourage the council to remain focused on getting city business done for the citizens of Fall River. Today I spoke with the President and provided the cooperative suggestion that he or the VP “co-sign” and review city business on a voluntary basis.”
Ponte sent a letter to the Mayor earlier in the day which can be found by clicking here.
