Mayor Correia announces money granted for infrastructure, abandoned housing projects
Mayor Jasiel Correia announced today almost $2.4 million in aid and grants for abandoned housing and infrastructure projects.
$1,919,875 is being given to the city in the form of infrastructure money known as Massachusetts Chapter 90 funds.
$400,000 was also awarded to the Fall River Community Development Agency from the Massachusetts Attorney General’s office for abandoned housing.
The mayor shared the news today on his Facebook page.
“We continue to have a working relationship with the state to get things done for our city!”
