Massachusetts woman will have some relaxing fun after hitting $1 million State Lottey prize

A Massachusetts woman has some fun on the agenda after hitting big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Grace Murphy of Fall River is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Monopoly Doubler” $10 instant ticket game.

Murphy chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). She said she plans to use her winnings to go to Paris, where she will enjoy some cheese and wine in front of the Eiffel Tower. 

She purchased her winning ticket at Cumberland Farms, 4548 North Main St. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$4,000,000 Monopoly Doubler has zero $4,000,000 and two $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
