Massachusetts woman will enjoy retirement after hitting $1 million State Lottery prize

It sounds like a Massachusetts woman has some fun on the horizon after hitting big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Teresa Moreno of Ludlow is the second $1 million grand prize winner in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Triple 777” $5 instant ticket game.

She chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). Moreno said she plans on taking a vacation, investing, and enjoying retirement with her winnings.  

She purchased her winning ticket at The Country Trading Post & Restaurant, 769 Burnett Rd. in Chicopee. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

Triple 777 has three $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
