Massachusetts woman who hit $1 million on State Lottery instant game shows a smaller purchase can bring as much joy as a new house or car

A Massachusetts woman has a small purchase in mind after hitting big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Patti Turner of Plymouth has won a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Strike It Rich” $10 scratch ticket game.

Turner chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). She plans to purchase a new Louis Vuitton purse with the winnings.   

She purchased her winning ticket at Plymouth Liquor Mart, 285 Court St. in Plymouth. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

Strike It Rich has three $4,000,000 and four $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
