Massachusetts woman plans on letting her money work for her after hitting $1 million State Lottery prize
A Massachusetts woman plans on letting her money make her more money after a big win on a State Lottery scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Stacey Hildreth-Fortin of Springfield is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$1,000,000 Ultimate 7” $5 instant ticket game.
She chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). Hildreth-Fortin said she plans on investing with her winnings.
She purchased her winning ticket at Quality Fuel & Mart, 1112 Bay St. in Springfield. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
