Massachusetts woman plans on fulfilling her dream after $1 million State Lottery win

Hitting big money playing lottery games is obviously not easy, but when people do, it can be life changing as was the case recently.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Pany Phonyotha of Worcester has won a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Diamond Deluxe” $30 instant ticket game.

Phonyotha chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). She plans on opening a small business and helping her family with her winnings.

She purchased her winning ticket at Star Pizza & Variety, 1280 Grafton St in Worcester. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

Diamond Deluxe has two $15,000,000 and four $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
