Massachusetts woman makes smart decision after hitting $1 million State Lottery prize on scratch ticket

We are seeing more and more that big State Lottery winners are being smart with their winnings and this Massachusetts woman is no exception.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Larissa Nazario of Everett has won the third and final $1 million grand prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Emerald Mine 50X” $5 instant ticket game.

Nazario chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). She plans to invest the winnings. 

She purchased her winning ticket at Broadway Market, 481 Broadway. in Malden. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

This was the final $1,000,000 prize in Emerald Mine 50X.
