Massachusetts woman is on the move after winning nearly half a million in new State Lottery game
A Massachusetts woman won nearly a half million dollars on the State Lottery and she will soon be on the move.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Jourdan Doherty of Wilmington is the winner of a $470,195 prize on a $2 bet while playing “Timber Wolf,” an online-only eInstant game available through Mass Lottery Online.
Doherty claimed her $470,195 prize (before taxes) at the Mass Lottery’s headquarters in Dorchester. She plans on purchasing a home with the winnings.
Prizes won purchased online of $50,000 or more must be claimed at the Lottery’s headquarters in Dorchester.
To play Mass Lottery games online, players must be 21 or older and physically located in Massachusetts at the time of play and to make a deposit to their account. Players need to have a Mass Lottery Player Account, which can be created at masslottery.com or by downloading the Mass Lottery App on a mobile device or tablet.
