Massachusetts woman hits $4 million prize on State Lottery game, here is how she plans to spend it
A Massachusetts woman has no plans to move after hitting big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Elba Rivera of Framingham is the winner of a $4 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “777” instant ticket game.
Rivera chose to receive her prize in the form of a one-time payment of $2,600,000 (before taxes). She said she plans to use her winnings to pay off the mortgage on her house.
She purchased her winning ticket at Auto Bright Car Care, 105 Hollis St. in Framingham. She said she stopped there on her way to work. The retailer receives a $40,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
