Massachusetts woman has snowstorm to thank after $400,000 State Lottery win

A local woman recently came away with a big State Lottery win and she has a snowstorm at least partly to thank for her new riches.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Olga Dias is the winner of the Mass Cash $100,000 grand prize times 4.

She usually plays her numbers 2 times but played a few extra because of the forecasted snow last week and hit for $400,000!

She purchased her winning tickets at Chris Gasbarro’s Fine Wine & Spirits in Seekonk. The store has received a $4,000 bonus for its sale of this winning ticket.

Mass Cash drawings are conducted twice a day, seven days a week. The cost of each play is $1. To play, you must pick five out of 35 numbers or choose Quic Pic, which randomly picks the five numbers for you. Tickets that match all five winning numbers selected in the drawing win the game’s top prize.
