Massachusetts woman has plans set, including moving, after winning $1 million on State Lottery game

A Massachusetts woman has her plans set after winning big money recently on a State Lottery scratch ticket and one of those plans involves moving.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Colleen Sweet of Shrewsbury has won a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$2,000,000 50X Cashword” instant ticket game.

Sweet chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). She plans to invest and purchase a new home with her winnings. 

She purchased her winning ticket at Turnpike Liquors, 166 Boston Rd. in Shrewsbury. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
