According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Patricia Markland of Adams is the winner of a $500,000 top prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$500,000 Frenzy” $50 instant ticket game.

Markland received a one-time payment of $500,000 (before taxes). She plans to give some of the winnings to her children.

The winning ticket was purchased at Val’s Variety, 5 Columbia St. in Adams. The store will receive a $5,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

This was the 9th of 50 top prizes of $500,000 claimed for this game.
