A Massachusetts woman has a good plan for her winnings after hitting a big State Lottery prize on a scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Elizabeth Correia of Lowell is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$5,000,000 100X Cashword” $20 instant ticket game.
She chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). Correia plans on investing with her new winnings.
She purchased her winning ticket at Santo Domingo Liquors, 419 Hampshire St. in Lawrence. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
This is the last $1 million prize left in the game.
