Massachusetts woman gives the phrase “all that and a bag of chips” new meaning with $1 million State Lottery win
A Massachusetts woman was doing what mothers do when she hit big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Amy Kowal of Chicopee is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Lion’s share” $10 instant ticket game.
Kowal opted to receive her prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before
taxes). She said she bought the ticket while picking up a bag of Doritos from the store
for her daughter.
She purchased her winning ticket at Pride Market, 167 Chicopee St. in Chicopee. The
store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
