Massachusetts woman dies after being struck in Walmart parking lot by vehicle occupied by her husband

A Massachusetts woman has died from injuries she sustained after being struck in a department store lot.

According to MassLive, a 73-year-old woman from West Brookfield was struck and killed in the Walmart parking lot on Palmer Road in Ware on Friday.

The woman exited a vehicle occupied by her 79-year-old husband when she was hit by the vehicle when it went into reverse.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is under investigation by Ware Police and Massachusetts State Police.
