Massachusetts woman comes up with great plan on how to spend her $1 million State Lottery prize
A Massachusetts woman came up with a great idea on how she plans to spend the big money she won on a scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Marcia Paris of Lanesborough is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “300X” $30 instant ticket game.
Paris said that her father had purchased a “300X” ticket first, then someone else bought the next ticket in the book before she got what turned out to be her winning ticket.
Joined by her father at Lottery headquarters in Dorchester when claiming her prize, Paris opted to receive a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). She said she plans to use her winnings to build cabins on her property and take a vacation to Aruba.
She purchased her winning ticket at Mobil, 107 Main St. (Route 7) in Lanesborough. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket
