Some say that you can think or talk your goals and dreams into existence. Here is a story that notches a win for that theory.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Jaclyn Miller of Plymouth has won a $1,000 a week for life prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$1,000 a Week for Life” $5 instant ticket game.

Miller, who works as a nurse, chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $800,000 (before taxes). When asked why she bought the instant ticket, she replied “I’m trying to buy a house, maybe I’ll win the lottery.” She plans on doing just that with her winnings.

The winning ticket was purchased at Players Cafe, 950 Hyde Park Ave. in Hyde Park. The store will receive a $10,400 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$1,000 a Week for Life has six $1,000 a week for life prizes remaining.
