A Massachusetts woman couldn’t believe it after she recently hit big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Diane Seymour of Easthampton is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 In The Money” $10 instant ticket game.

Seymour chose the annuity option on her prize and received the first of 20 annual payments of $50,000 (before taxes). She plans on putting the winnings towards retirement and asked the clerk to pinch her to prove the win was real!

She bought her winning ticket at Cumberland Farms, 130 College Hwy. in Southampton. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

“$4,000,000 In The Money” has three $4,000,000 and seven $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
