Massachusetts woman and her husband each win $1 million prize on separate State Lottery scratch tickets

There is lucky, and then there is a Massachusetts couple who each won big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Megan Armstrong of East Bridgewater is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$5,000,000 100X Cashword” instant ticket game.

Armstrong, whose husband also won a $1 million prize on a Cashword ticket back in 2016, chose to receive her prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). She plans on putting the winnings towards home repairs.

She purchased her winning ticket at Viking Liquors, 685 North Bedford St. in East Bridgewater. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
