Massachusetts town looking for person who hung Trump sign on live wires hanging into road
Police in a Massachusetts town are looking for a person who hung a sign supporting President Trump on live wires that left the wires and the sign hanging into the road.
According to Wilmington Police, the Town of Wilmington bylaws state that “no person shall in any manner affix posters or signs or advertisements, whether for political purposes or for other purposes, upon town property, real or personal, or upon the poles and other equipment of utilities located within the limits of Town ways.”
The WPD are looking to speak with the individual who is responsible for hanging a sign across Main Street early this morning by tying it around live electrical wires.
“Not only did they run the risk of electrocution, but the low hanging sign caused a hazard to passing motorists.”
Anyone with information is asked to call WPD at 978-658-5071 or can provide an anonymous tip via a smartphone app or online at www.wpd.org.
