Massachusetts Stop & Shop pharmacist accused of passing out vaccination cards to the unvaccinated
A Massachusetts pharmacist is being accused of passing out COVID-19 vaccination cards without the recipient getting a shot.
According to Boston 25 News, an investigation has been launched by the Board of Registration in Pharmacy after it is believed that a pharmacist at a Lynn Stop & Shop was fraudulently passing out the cards.
The allegation was reported by an employee after it was discovered that the store had more vaccines than it should compared to the number of shots administered at the location.
Dozens of the vaccine cards were improperly given, according to a records search.
The accused is no longer employed by Stop & Shop, according to Boston 25, and the pharmacist is facing possible fines or a loss of his license.
There is currently no criminal investigation into the pharmacist.
