Massachusetts State Trooper comes to the rescue of injured hawk located on highway
A Massachusetts State Trooper wasn’t just protecting the public recently, but also came to the rescue of an injured animal.
The State Police Association of Massachusetts wanted to recognize Trooper Clemenzi of EAU.
Clemenzi rescued an injured hawk that was on Route 114 in Middleton.
The hawk was bleeding at the mouth and had a broken wing. In credit to Clemenzi’s quick response and going the extra mile, the hawk is now being treated and is on his way to recovery at North Shore Veterinary Hospital in Gloucester.
